about us
With the foundational belief that education professionals are pillars of our communities, our aim is to provide both physical and mental support. We provide a yoga-based wellness practice that combines movement, breathing techniques, and mindfulness as tools to renew and empower the whole person.
Meet the Team
Here are the two amazing ladies who are the force behind Yoga for Educators. They also happen to be your teachers!

Co-Founder
Hannah adams
Hannah Adams is our co-founder and vision caster. With a background in education (at the high school and elementary school level) and with three children in the public school system, her passion and appreciation for the educators in our community is deeply rooted.
After practicing yoga for ten years, she completed her RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hour) training with Level Above Yoga School in April of 2024. When she’s not teaching yoga at a local school, she is either teaching or taking a class at Greensboro Power Studios, listening to a book while washing yoga mats, or spending time with her husband, three sons, and two golden retrievers.

Co-Founder
SaraKate loomis
Sarakate Loomis is the co-founder of Yoga for Educators, where she supports both the vision and program development behind the scenes. A registered yoga teacher (RYT-500) with a background in physical therapy, Sarakate brings over nine years of teaching experience to her work. She believes that education—and the people who make it possible—are at the heart of community well-being. Through yoga, Sarakate hopes to offer educators and support staff space to recharge, reconnect, and remember their own capacity for balance and care. You are also likely to find her practicing yoga or teaching strength classes at Greensboro Power Studios, drinking coffee anywhere and wrangling two small children with her husband, Jordan.
